Lycen is the oldest guild on this server and has been running since it's beginnings. For most of its existence it hosted some of the best players on this server and was oriented towards progress in endgame content . In past a great progress and some of server-firsts have been done by the guild thanks to commitment and hard work of it's members. Lycen was always considered to be a guild with very well organized members and well structured hierarchy.Guild concept was always to achieve its goals with the guildes members, which is realized by recruitment, organization and management with active and dedicated player base. We want everyone to raid as much as possible.

During Summer,2011 guild formally become social because of absence of some of its core members. Most of the members went to other guilds for 25 man raiding and experience. There was also plan to merge together with some other guilds, but Gm and old and loyal members decided to stay under Lycen guild banner.
A month ago, Gm position was changed. We decided to use this opportunity to reform Lycen and restructure it together with members and friends. Now Lycen is back, with most of the players that were here before and some added fresh blood of course. What we look for is nothing less then restoring it's former glory and make it nothing less then what it always was, Lycen fel.

General goal:

Lycen fel is a PvE oriented guild, striving towards endgame content progress. Our intention is not to be the biggest group on the server but to be best organized group with just as much members as we need to progress in such content and have fun doing it.

We are doing endgame instance farming raids on a weekly basis and progress raids on a frequent basis so we expect of each member to be ready for such schedule gear-wise and mentally.
Each player in the guild is profiled by his class,stats,playtimes and activity and then a raiding schedule is being made based on players profiles. Progress of players in the guild is based on their loyalty and commitment to guild's goals.

We expect of each player to strive towards improving his gear and harness his skills in instances we are trying to progress in. To make that possible, each player have a same chance to farm endgame contents in our scheduled parties through our farming rotation system.

Our main goal is to balance player's classes in the guild and reward activity of players, not their choice of class. Each class will have same predispositions to gear up, how much they improve depends only on them and their willpower.

We're getting back to raiding, and not without success!




The first boss in Firelands we got down was Shannox.




Second in line, was Beth'Tilac.




And the honors of third kill for the night, went to Rhyolith.

Congrats are in order for the heroes who made this possible. So show them some love when you meet them.
And ofcourse we'll be looking forward to hear how their adventure continues!

Blind, and also quite deaded.

At the start of the evening, Maloriak still yelled; "There can be no disruptions! Mustn't keep the master waiting, mustn't fail again!"
But that was before Lyen Fel set foot in his room.
Poor Maloriak, he tried his best to hold off the inevitable, but alas.
When he finally fell to the ground, Lord Victor Nefarius was quick to yell "Congratulations! Allow me to grant you a title befitting the amazing achievement you just performed!".
After which he gave all 25 Lycens the title 'Slayer of Incompetent, Stupid and Disappointing Minions'.
But they knew better. And so Maloriak was honored at his funeral.

That's right! after a long and irksome time, we have finaly vanquished the beast! A HUGE congrats to all the guys, it's well deserved!

After a few nights of poking, this boss eventually fell with a flawless kill. Good job.

Following on from yesterday's limited time on Al'akir, we went back today and got our first kill on him. It was a much easier fight than I expected and didn't take us too long to take him down.



With all bosses dead, our next targets will be getting Nefarian and Al'akir dead on 25 man and beginning our work on Heroic modes.

Hey all,

It's been a slow couple of weeks for us and been doing a little more 10 man than normal. We've not had a huge amount of time of Nefarian since last reset but that didn't stop us killing him on 10 man at least. Surprisingly he seemed much easier, maybe we've finally learnt how to jump out of lava properly



After killing Nefarian we spent about an hour on Al'akir and nearly killed him a couple of times, being unfamiliar with phase 3 is the only thing stopping us here he will certinaly die on our next attempts.

Next week hoping for that big Nefarian 25 kill, and maybe some Heroics if we have time!
